WHERE CAN I TRAIN?
IPAF-listed does not actually training – training is provided by over 1000 IPAF Approved Training Centres (ATCs) in 60 countries and regions. Each training centre is regularly audited by IPAF to ensure the highest standard of training is delivered. IPAF is KNOWN for being able to arrange the delivery of IPAF training courses when you are in the form of short IPAF, in all the following courses and training: MEWPS for Managers, Training Demonstrator on operator skills to perform aerial work safely, at Training Centres or on-site or company training centres for in-company training purposes.
WHAT IS ELEARNING?
IPAF eLearning offers a flexible and interactive option that can be undertaken anywhere, anytime. eLearning is a theory-only format so users need to undertake a separate practical exam delivered as one of the range of options available such as MCWP Training and MEWP Operator Practical courses. eLearning is not available in all IPAF territory and may differ in price so users need to check with their local IPAF Operator Card does not replace the theory component of your existing course PAL Operators licence licence. Your licence/PAL Card will be sent out by the relevant Training Centre where you take the theory element of your PAL Cards are issued digitally and accessed via ePAL IPAF’s free mobile photo app. Physical PAL Cards are available if required.
HOW LONG DOES IPAF TRAINING TAKE?
The IPAF training programme usually lasts for around 1 to 3 days and can be spread over a longer period of time if preferred. If this is undertaken by eLearning, time can be saved without time-limited duration and your practical exam can be taken at the time.
DO I GET A PAL CARD?
The majority of IPAF MEWP, MCWP and Construction Hoist courses. If passed will result in the Powered Access licence (PAL) Card, which is globally recognised. Please also be aware that since June 2019 there is ePAL, an IPAF operator licence PAL Card option that is the highest standard. Your PAL Card lasts for five years.
All PAL Cards are issued digitally and accessed via ePAL IPAF’s free mobile phone app. Physical PAL Cards are available if required.
