If your employer is CITB registered, they can claim back a significant portion of the training cost through short course grants. We are an Approved Training Organization (ATO).
Most companies pay for their employees’ training as part of their legal duty of care. Ask your employer about sponsoring your 3a/3b course.

When you book a course, all learning materials, the logbook, and the safety guide are included. There are no extra charges for these resources.
We believe safety knowledge should be accessible. Utilize these free tools.
Download free, ready-to-use safety briefings on subjects like rescue plans and harness use.
The IPAF ePAL app is free to download. It stores your license and gives free access to safety guides.

Why professional, paid training is an investment, not a cost.
Understanding the difference between free resources and certified training.
There is no official “free” IPAF course for the public. The registration fees and instructor time must be paid. “Free” usually refers to employer-funded training.
However, safety guidance, technical papers, and the ePAL app are available free of charge to help operators stay safe.
For eligible businesses, CITB grants can cover a significant percentage of the course cost, making it very low cost to the employer.
“We claimed the CITB grant for our team’s training. Siri Tech handled the paperwork, making the process seamless.”
“The free Andy Access posters are great for our morning briefings. Really helps keep safety front of mind.”
“I didn’t have to pay a penny myself; my company sponsored the whole course. Great investment in my skills.”

Yes, the IPAF ePAL app is completely free to download and use. It stores your digital license and logbook without charge.
