1b Training FAQs

Can I get a paper certificate?

Yes. While we issue digital ePAL cards as standard to protect the environment, a printed certificate can be arranged for an additional fee (£40+VAT).

Do I need a harness?

Yes. For boom type platforms (including 1b Static Booms), a full body harness with an adjustable restraint lanyard is strongly recommended.

Can I combine 1b with other categories?

Yes, you can often combine 1b with 3a or 3b training in a single day, depending on your experience level.

What happens if I need more time?

If machine complexity requires it, we can extend the course duration to 2 or 3 days. Please call us to discuss a dedicated course.
