Describe the work you need to do, and we’ll confirm which category fits best.
Note: The 3a & 3b Combo course covers almost all scenarios.
Combining 3a and 3b is the industry standard for a reason.
This certification is essential for a wide range of industries and roles.
Site operatives needing to access high external walls or steelwork. 3b is crucial for reaching over unfinished ground or obstacles.
Maintenance teams changing lighting, servicing HVAC, or cleaning high-level windows. 3a scissors are the standard tool for this.
Riggers and lighting technicians setting up stages or film sets often require both categories to work safely at height.
“The combo course was intense but worth it. Getting both categories done in one day saved me having to take two days off work.”
“I’d only ever used a scissor lift before. The instructor made the boom lift part very clear and built my confidence up quickly.”
“Great training centre. Good machines and the ePAL app is so much better than carrying a plastic card around.”
