Service Technician Training

A six-day intensive course for new and existing access industry technicians. Prepares you for manufacturer-led training and Level 2/3 NVQ in Plant Maintenance.

Up to 7 CAP Points

Level 3 Apprenticeship

A 3-year ‘Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineer Technician’ programme. Combines workplace learning with college blocks to produce fully qualified engineers.

Career Starter

Technical Training (TVH University)

Practice-oriented courses for industrial vehicles like forklifts and telehandlers. Earn CAP points for every completed module.

Specialist Skills
Specialist Safety & Management

Harness Awareness & User (HA/HU)

Essential for anyone using harnesses in MEWPs. Covers inspection, fitting, and safe usage. Available as a half-day course or operator add-on.

MEWPs for Managers

For supervisors planning work at height. Covers risk assessment, machine selection, and regulations. Available via eLearning.

1 Day Certificate

Competent Assessed Person (CAP)

Advanced certification for those undertaking statutory inspections of MEWPs. Prove your competence to the highest standard.

Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)

Learn to correctly perform in-service inspections of MEWPs to ensure safety and meet legal requirements before hire.

Operator Training

Dual Operator (3a + 3b)

The industry standard for Scissor and Boom lift operators. Practical and theory assessment.

1 Day PAL Card

Triple Operator (1b + 3a + 3b)

Comprehensive training adding Static Booms (van mounts) to your skill set.

Operator Renewal

Refresh your skills and renew your PAL Card. Available via VR Simulator or eLearning.
