Registration Fee
Every PAL Card issued incurs a mandatory registration fee payable to IPAF International. This cost is fixed and included in all our quotes.
Category Count
Booking a ‘Single Category’ (e.g., just 3a) is cheaper upfront, but the ‘Dual Category’ (3a + 3b) offers far better value per license.
Location
Training at our centre includes machine hire in the price. Training at your site removes this cost, provided you have suitable machines available.
Group Size
We offer significant discounts for group bookings. Filling a course with 4-6 delegates reduces the cost per person considerably.

Is the digital card cheaper?
The digital ePAL license is included in the standard price. Opting for a physical plastic card usually incurs a small extra fee for printing and postage.
Do I pay VAT?
Yes, all training services in the UK are subject to VAT. Our quotes to businesses are usually net + VAT.
Is renewal cheaper than a new course?
The cost is generally similar as the assessment requirements are the same to ensure continued competence. However, refresher courses are shorter.
When do I have to pay?
Payment is typically required at the time of booking to secure your slot and the price rate offered.
