The IPAF certification provide essential training in order to operate vertical platforms and static boom platforms which commonly include scissor lifts, vertical lifts, spider lift and boom lifts. The courses are split in different parts which are called categories. For instance, for a scissor lift you need a 3a certificate and for a boom lift a 3b certificate. The IPAF training is for people who need to work with urban, when the outcome PAL or suitable work the PAL is suitable for people who work with the lift on a structural basis. the IPAF training focuses on the safety aspects.
