This one day Static Boom (1b) IPAF Training course instructs an operator how to prepare and safely operate a static boom. It provides both theory and practical training.a The IPAF training course aims to allow operators to manoeuvre, drive and position a static boom platform safely and proficiently.

Most IPAF MEWP courses, upon successful completion, will qualify participants for a Powered Access Licence (PAL Card), which is globally recognized and demonstrates that the participants have been trained to the highest standard. The PAL Card is valid for five years. In India, PAL Cards can be issued digitally through IPAF’s free mobile phone app, ePAL. Printed PAL Cards are also available if needed at an additional cost.

Anyone who may be required to operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) – specifically 1b Static Boom. Course delegates may be new to the role, have previous experience or be requiring refresher training
